I believe that humor is the best way to connect with others because if we can laugh at ourselves there is still hope.

I try to make each piece stand alone as a unique story.

I am not attempting to paint beautiful, ugly, shocking or popular pieces. I am just trying to honestly depict what I see using my own artistic vocabulary.

These works were done over the last 3 years. Some of the mixed media conceptual studies will be used as the basis for larger works.

If I finish a piece, and if I am surprised by what I see, I keep it. If it looks like my original vision, I start again.
